I believe that the names of the innocent that have died along side these political giants disserve their names to be posted here even more then the giants themselves. No one remembers them, although they all died for Lebanon , and they disserve to be immortalized, and remembered, especially since they could not see the freedom and change that we are seeing as a result of their sacrifice. They did not intend to die for their country, but they would have been willing to if their country asked it of them. These are heroes whose families could never forget, and neither should we. If you know the names of these heroes, please send me an e-mail to ace@aceviper.net and I will post their names in order to honor their memory

NEW UPDATE: October 20th 2005

The U.N. investigative report issued to Security Council members Thursday implicated Syria 's connection to the assassination of the former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Al-Hariri. The Syrian president Bashar al-Assad's brother and brother-in-law, are suspects, which isn't very surprising…

Chief investigator Detlev Mehlis said in the report that the decision to assassinate Hariri "could not have been taken without the approval of top-ranked Syrian security official[s] and could not have been further organized without the collusion of their counterparts in the Lebanese security services."

CLOSER TO FREEDOM!
THE SYRIAN INTELLIGENCE OFFICE CLOSED IN ZAHLE!!!

My hometown is finally getting closer to freedom. At the end of the month, Lebanon should be free of Syrian forces, and intelligence operatives. This is a dream that is slowly becoming a reality. The city, which was being bombarded by Syrian forced the day I was born, is now free of Syrian forces. Nothing can express my joy and my love for Zahle. The day I return, I will kiss the earth and give thanks to God for letting me see my beloved city free, and proud. So that I may understand why my heart beats with the sound of a thousand martyrs, as the blood of lions rushed through my veins. Today the church bells of Zahle sing of freedom, mourn the martyrs, and call out for the past. I can’t wait to hear them ring, and hear my heart sing with each tone. Thank you Heavenly Father, may you always watch over us, and may we always be in your grace.

The lebanese army stands tall as its people chant "The only Soldiers we want in Lebanon are The Lebanese Soldiers"

More then 10,000 people form the Lebanese flag out of cardboard to honor the assassinated former Prime Minister and to call out for their own freedom from Syria.

Candles are lit in memory of the martyr Rafik Al-Hariri, and in hopes they will give light to a new Free Lebanon

People flood the streets of Beirut to show the world the true voice of Lebanon.

Millions march to Beirut to protest the Syrian Presence in lebanon. Muslims and Christians alike stand side by side to cry out for their right to live free.

Lebanese Muslims and Christians stand together united and determined to free lebanon, and to show that they are willing to put aside their differences.

Today on the 14th of March 2005 as the Al-Amin Mosque gave shade to Muslims and Christians alike, and as the bells of the many Churches rang to bless all those that hear them, millions of Anti-Syrian protestors left theirs homes, their schools, and their jobs, to tell the world that they have had enough! In a protest which dwarfed any previous protest, and called out with the true voice of Lebanon, Muslims and Christians from all sects, joined under one flag. The 1.4 million Syrian workers where not ordered to go and give volume as they had done last Tuesday in the Pro-Syrian shameful protest which brought disgrace and dishonor to our proud land. Being united does not mean we are free, We have freed ourselves from evil, but we are still forced to stop at Syrian checkpoints, and give salutations to Syrian soldiers who have killed out mothers, our fathers, our sisters and our brothers. We are still forced to smile at the face of those that have destroyed our beautiful country and thank them for their help. We are still forced to allow ourselves to call a man who sold his honor, sold his soul, and sold his people our president. We are forced to put up with insulting lies and hypocrisies, which claim they are a government of the people. Please, We need your journalists to go to Lebanon and ask the people about the truth so that the world can hear our cries for freedom, we need politicians to go to Lebanon and ask the people what they what, since our own government has abandoned its duties towards us. We need, children to write letters to their presidents, and ask them why the children of Lebanon must leave their beloved country to find freedom. We want tourists to go and see how beautiful, and rich our country is, so that they can ask why this country has been abandoned by the world. We need the truth, we need the power, and we need our freedom!

A Prayer for Lebanon

Forgive me God if I hate outsiders (Syrians) out of love for my country, no hate is justified even when fueled by love. Help me to love those that killed freedom, and purity in my country, and take away my anger and my jealousy
(which I cannot help but feel) for my land and people, those things cannot free a country; my land will only see freedom through your love and mercy Lord. Only through prayer should my country be free and I know many are praying. A freedom bought with blood and hate is a slavery to blood and hate. Keep our people united, and take away their ill feeling towards each other breaded by years of war, and only leave purity in our hearts. Be our shepherd and our guardian, we leave our fait in your hands. Forgive those that hate for my country and forgive those that hate my country, free us by your will and don’t let the land of Your ciders die by the edge of the sword sworn to protect it. Free us Lord, free us of our oppressors, and free us from our own sinful hate.
Amen

A Question About Heroes:
If a hero were placed in a position where he would loose all his fame, and all his power, and everything that made him a hero in order to save the country, which he became a hero for defending in the first place, what should he do? If in order for him to stay a hero, he must make sure his country stays in a state that constantly needs heroes; does that make him a hero, or a tyrant? The world is a cruel place, and many times it places great people in a position where they will be shamed, from no fault of their own, but from the fault of fait. I urge the heroes of Lebanon to sacrifice their titles, and place aside their greed for power, and constant admiration, and to act like heroes, even though there is a chance they will loose everything they have worked hard for. The Lebanese people are not deniers of gratitude, and they will not let their heroes fall. You will be even greater heroes if you fight for our freedom once again, rather then fight for our oppression so you can become heroes of a shamed nation under a shameful rule.

IMPORTANT: Thanks to a strong Lebanese unity, and the overwhelming rage of the Lebanese people over the assassination of the former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq El-Hariri by what is largely believed to be Syria, the Syrian President Bashar Al-Asaad, has assured the world, that he has the full intention of withdrawing his troops from Lebanon. The former Syrian President, Hafiz al-Assad, presented this same intention when he occupied Lebanon almost 20 years ago. As we all know, if Bashar al-Assad is anything like his father, then this withdrawal with take another 20 years, if not more. The Lebanese people cannot handle this occupation any longer, and they cannot fight it alone. Please, do anything you can to force this aggressor out of our country. A free Lebanon does not only insure freedom for its people, but it brings the entire Middle East closer to freedom from terror. My only worry is that Hezbollah will not back the Lebanese call for freedom, and they will not act as members of the Lebanese society, but rather allow the greed of power to overtake their hearts and sell their souls. Every single Lebanese person should back the Lebanese cry for freedom, and every single foreign person should lend a hand to free Lebanon for this state of terror and aggression. So that the land that is mentioned over 70 times in the Holy Bible will not be just another land under the rule of terror. As I asked before, please, do not stay silent; do not let another country suffer injustice. If you are a reporter, go to Lebanon and report what no Lebanese person is allowed to report, if you are a politician, please go to Lebanon, and meet with the people, and get their words to your government since our “elected” government does not wish to listen to us. Even if you do not have any special powers, your presence in Lebanon is enough. Lebanon is a very beautiful place, it has beaches, it has mountain, it has everything that you could ever want, and if you help support us, it will have stability as well. Don’t abandon us, please! We need you!

IMPORTANT:
This is a plea on my behalf, and on the behalf of A.C.E, for all people, of all religions, races, and cultures, to help protect Lebanon from another destructive war. With the assassination of the Lebanese former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri
, on February 14, by faction that wished to rob Lebanon of one of it’s few true nationalists that have been allowed by Syria to enter parliament, Lebanon has entered into a state of unrest once again. I beg of anyone that reads this to please do anything you can to prevent Lebanon from being destroyed again! Rafiq Hariri worked all his live to help rebuild Lebanon, please don’t let the day of his assassination mark the day of Lebanon’s re-destruction! Syrian forces began distributing weapons to groups supporting Damascus and the 1.4 million expatriate laborers in a country whose population is less then 3.5 million. All those who love peace and who respect the laws on the country they love had given up their weapons after the war, and are defenseless against any foreign attack. Our only defense lies in the hands of our Pro-Syrian government, which has betrayed its own country, and threatens its own people who wish to speak out against the Syrian occupation of Lebanon, and Hezbollah, which is the only militant force apart from our government. Unfortunately, Hezbollah is backed by Syria and I do not believe they will help the innocent Lebanese people who will definitely be slaughtered upon approval from the Syrian government. As it stands, Lebanon now has over 15 thousand Syrian forces deployed and fully armed in Lebanon, it have even more secret service operatives deployed in Lebanon, as well as 1.4 million Syrian workers which are loyal to their mother land, and are now being given weapons so they can slaughter and kill the innocent. Lebanon only has 3.3 million residents including woman and children. All of who are willing to stand up and fight for what they believe in, and although I have no doubt that Lebanon will survive any foreign threat, my concern is the destruction and the loss of innocent lives. Please, do anything you can, even if it means going to Lebanon on a vacation just to get more foreign people in the country so Syria will have to think twice before attacking. It breaks my heart to hear that Syrian beggars who where sent to Lebanon to beg on the streets will be given weapons to kill the people that have helped them, and gave them money to eat and feed their families. Please, anything you can do will help, even if it means that you tell your friends about the situation there, and make others aware that Lebanon is not free, and its government is not loyal to its people, but loyal to Syria. I personally have no problem with Syrian solders being in Lebanon, as long as they are under the direct order of the Lebanese army, and as long as there is no Syrian secret service which threatens to kill and torture anyone who speaks out against Syria. But as is today, Lebanon has been robbed of its rights, and robbed of its freedom of the press, and freedom of speech. Please, if you are a reporter, go to Lebanon and report what no Lebanese person is allowed to report, if you are a politician, please go to Lebanon, and meet with the people, and get their words to your government since our “elected” government does not wish to listen to us. Even if you do not have any special powers, your presence in Lebanon is enough. Lebanon is a very beautiful place, it has beaches, it has mountain, it has everything that you could ever want, and if you help support us, it will have stability as well. Don’t abandon us, please! We need you!
