This is probably the most
famous illusion of all time! Almost everyone has seen it! What do you see
at your first glance of this illusion! Do you see an
old lady, or do you see a young women? They are both there!!
Do the sides of the square
appear to be bent in? Wait, now that is impossible! Believe it or
not, they are as straight as they come. If you do not believe me, take a
straight edge and see for yourself!!!
When you first look at this
illusion, does there appear to be fuzz where the white lines intersect? There is
nothing there! Now, I want you to get two sheets of paper. Then I
want you to cover the entire grid except for four black boxes, and one
intersection (helps if you do this in a corner of the grid). Now, where
did the fuzz go?
